Gallery Submissions:
Theme Galleries- Please Submit your images to the proper category first, then copy them to the featured.

Featured- Photo's of your own (best) complete costumes or accessories, or of people you know personally (e.g. people who costume with you regularly).

Favorites- Photo's of strangers at cons or professional photo shoots.

Members Making Money- This is a special place to put items you plan to sell. If the main purpose of your deviation is to sell the item, please place it in this Gallery. You may also feature it, but please do not flood the Featured gallery with items you are selling. Admins will politely move items to this gallery if we feel there are too many in the Featured.

Toronto Comicon

Well, asides from being the first day of March break here (are you as excited as I am!?) today also marks the end of Toronto Comicon, which took place this past weekend.  This year they featured a large number of special guests including the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation!  Did any of our Canadian members attend, and if so what did you think?  How does it stack up to other conventions?  Did you meet any guests?  Most importantly did you see any amazing costumes???

Having not attended myself I am hoping you guys will leave some answers to the above questions in the comments below, and don't forget to submit any costuming photos you may have snapped this weekend!

I'm an Associate Professor of Art Education at Indiana University, Bloomington. My research over the past 7 years has involved explorations of art learning in online (fan) communities. I'm currently conducting a nation-wide survey of the art knowledge, learning and sharing experiences of adolescents and young adults in traditional school and online settings. The study is supported by the National Art Education Association Foundation (NAEA / NAEF) and provides human subject protection through Indiana University IRB.
